14-1-5 granular is 50% poultry litter and eggshell compost. It combines synthetic nitrogen from IBDU (Isobutylidene Diurea) with organic compost to feed both plant and soil microbes. 14-1-5 will be a excellent organic/synthetic based fertilizer for early to late fall applications. It combines organic poultry litter and an eggshell compost with a unique nitrogen source from IBDU nitrogen. Unlike most other slow release nitrogen sources requiring soil temperature and soil microbial activity to break down and release, IBDU releases slowly based off of moisture alone. With cooler fall soil temperatures IBDU will continue to feed and provide long term color up until turf dormancy occurs. Resulting in a longer feed time extended into cooler weather when other slow release fertilizers stop showing results. It also combines slow release IBDU with Nitrate, AMS, and Urea for a quick green up and outstanding color while improving soil biology from the poultry litter and eggshell compost. 14-1-5 comes in a 145sgn fairway grade prill size for easy spreadability while increasing prill coverage per sqft of turf. Unlike standard grade 220-240sgn prill size you're getting better more even coverage out of the smaller 145sgn size.
