Located in the heart of the Wilyabrup Valley, Woodlands Wines cellar door promises to offer a truly genuine Margaret River experience. Both our winery and cellar door have slowly evolved over the past 50 years to transform from a small hole in the wall, adjoined the family home, to a bright and eclectic place surrounded by tall marri trees, lawns, and the local wily wag tails! Our cellar door places you right in the heart of winery, providing sweeping views of our original vineyard to the south, the working winery to the west, and the barrel hall to the north. Enjoy a selection of international cheeses and small plates, curated by our in house chef, as you explore our wines by the glass or bottle. Our new outdoor seating on the lawn offers plenty of space to enjoy the warm summer sunshine, perfect for the kids too. Whichever time of year your visit falls, at our cellar door you will be sure to witness a small part of the passage our wines make from the vine, to barrel, then to bottle. During vintage time, February through to April, you may chance upon the fruit being picked and hauled up the hill by our tractor as it heads into the winery. During Autumn and Winter you are more likely to peer out and see our wine being racked from barrel, and heading into Summer we begin to bottle our wines at bottling line. Woodlands is open daily from 10-5pm and welcomes walk in appointments. However, to avoid disappointment we recommend booking ahead using the options below. To ensure you the most from your experience , the last tasting with food, or any food order, is at 4pm.
