Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen VdF Tinus Marsanne
Château de Tourettes is French wine icon Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen's project in the Southern France. After growing discontent with the vacillating nature of Burgundy in the late 90s, he and his wife Maine decided to not only redefine this estate, but also showcase the untapped potential of the Luberon region. Grown on chalky soils at over 400m of elevation, this Marsanne opens with grapefruit, citrus blossom, white pepper and a hint of dried herbs, framed by a marked stony character. The medium‑bodied palate balances ripe, juicy fruit with bright citrus acidity, giving the wine both volume and freshness. Released only in the best years for the variety, it finishes long and textural.
