1950s "Lorraine" Scalloped Boatneck Wedding Dress, Size S

Elegant 1950s "Lorraine" has a stunning scalloped flattering wide neckline with piping and lace inserts. Cream coloured silk organdie overlay on the skirt has beautiful piping and lace detailing and a cream coloured liner. Front scallops attach at the side to a plain back skirt with just a small train. Long sleeves are cut as part of the bodice and end at a point and do up with a long row of classy covered buttons. Back of the dress also does up with a long row of covered buttons and loops and has a flattering dropped waist line. Lorraine is In very good vintage condition, ready to wear. We have shown the gown with a light crinoline but it would be stunning with a fuller crinoline that would push the fullness of the skirt out for a more princess silhouette.
