Black Olympus Trip 35 Exc++

This is a rare black version of the Trip 35 in the original black leatherette in lovely original condition. Serviced and supplied with a 12 month warranty. Sympathetically refurbished; it has been fully serviced and has new light seals. The light meter and red flag (low light warning) are working. The lens is free from marks, scratches and fungus. There is just a nice very light patina, such as a minor scuff mark. We haven't touched-up the paint. It is all original. See photos of the actual camera for sale. Black Trip 35 cameras were made in the same era as the 6-digit very early Trips. Compared to later Trips, these have a number of differences; as the camera evolved over time, parts were made from different materials, e.g. some cogs and screws are brass compared to synthetic in later cameras. Black models tend to be more expensive due to their being harder to find. We only get a small number each year. The Zuiko 40mm f2.8 lens is famous for being sharp. The camera has 2 shutter speeds - 1/40 and 1/200. Simple to use, fully automatic exposure and a simple zone focus, these cameras were built to last and need no batteries. Film speed up to 400ASA.
