Becoming Kimmy

"Becoming Kimmy" is a first-person graphic novella following the experiences of a Sharjah street cat who, with her kitten, is trapped, neutered, and eventually adopted into the home of Neha Vora. The novella explores freedom, suffering, love, care, gender, and violence, imagining the subjective lives of street and domestic cats in the UAE. A story by Neha Vora, the comic was adapted and illustrated by Azim GH.
