Class: Crochet Market Bag (7/26)

Sunday, July 26th (11:30am-3pm). Reservation required. The Color Block Market Bag designed by Jenn Palmer is the perfect little summer project. Join instructor Sharon Crawford and master the skills needed to get started on a versatile bag that is endlessly useful, from the farmer's market to the beach. Makes a great little gift too! Sharon will guide you step-by-step with her approachable, easy to follow teaching style. Once this 3.5-hour class is completed, you will have a very good start on your bag and acquire all the skills to complete it at home. Trust us, it's an addictive little project and you'll want to make an entire rainbow of them! This class is appropriate for Intermediate Beginners, with basic knowledge of holding a crochet hook, chaining, single crochet and double crochet. Skills you will learn: Creating a single crochet bag bottom Forming the mesh upper using double crochets Changing yarn colors Tips for handle construction Materials: The class includes 3.5-hours of instruction and a printed pattern. Attendees need to be prepared and bring the following: US H / 5.0mm crochet hook 2 skeins Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton, one neutral for upper and one contrast color for bottom.
