Begonia sp. (maybe sp. Garan)

Iridescent, hairy, compact…this one’s just about perfect. Unfortunately, I’m not sure of the locality. New growth is a maroonish red and matures to a darker purpley-blue. It is somewhat variable, with some seedlings displaying more or less red/blue. The last photo is representative of the plants available. They are well rooted and shipped meticulously in their pots.
