California Modernist Coffee Table by Manuel Martin, 1944

A California modernist coffee table constructed in mahogany by Los Angeles based furniture maker Manuel Martin. This early modernist table was made in 1944 and features a solid wood top framed between two rails, and four tapered, splayed legs. Similar in form to George Nakashima's "Milk House" table, this simple piece is timeless and beautiful without trying too hard. It will work with virtually any aesthetic. The table has been professionally restored and is in excellent condition. Signed and dated to the bottom. Dimension: 46"W x 24"W x 15"H
