Two mezcal cups in blue, sold as a set OR Two mezcal cups in black, sold as a set Perro y Arena is a ceramics project and design studio by Tijuana-born artist Socrates Marko Medina. His work explores a spiritual connection between humans and the Baja Californian fauna. The textures, tones, and forms of the clay resemble the mediterranean landscapes of Baja and the animal figurines transport us to a mystical and mythological world. A place where one is able to dance with coyotes and hares while singing to the moon. Each piece is crafted by hand in his studio in Tijuana, Baja California.
