Sadowsky Archtop Guitars - 2006 Jimmy Bruno - Used
This 2006 Jimmy Bruno Archtop is an example of the fine craftsmanship of renowned luthier Roger Sadowsky. With a gorgeous highly-flamed Maple body bound in Ivoroid, this guitar has drop dead looks, especially when paired with the ebony pickguard, bridge, and tailpiece. A 5-piece laminate top suppresses feedback and ushers in lush tone whether plugged or unplugged. The DiMarzio humbucker in the neck delivers Jimmy's signature sound: warm, round tones that tend towards dark and broody rather than bright and in your face. This particular example is here in Excellent condition, with only some slight scratches to the body when caught in the light and a ring around the B-string tuning machine on the headstock from a previous string changes. The smaller 15" body and compact nature makes this an extremely comfortable guitar for players who might be transitioning to archtop, or for players who simply enjoy a more manageable guitar, but still want a huge sound. Comes with the original hardshell case. 15-fret Archtop Hollowbody Guitar 5-ply Flame Maple Laminate Construction 15” body width at lower bout 2-¾” body depth Mahogany neck, dovetail neck joint Ebony fingerboard with 1-11/16” nut width 24.75” scale length 12" radius Ebony bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece Sadowsky True-Tone compensated ebony bridge Gold Gotoh Tuners with Black Tuning Pegs PAF-style DiMarzio humbucker Original Hardshell Case Serial # A111
