Antique Bonnet This tiny, tiny bonnet is richly embroidered and has a very sweet look. Also included is a women’s hat with a brim, featuring Normandy embroidery and Rococo ribbon trim around the edge. The bonnet for a baby shows some tears, but these are mainly caused by broken threads pulling the lace away, so it can be restored with repairs. As for the hat, the silk lining shows signs of deterioration. However, the exterior retains the unique character of an antique piece. It bears a tag from a dressmaker’s shop that served noblewomen near the Palace of Versailles.
