Ideal for both handheld and studio setups, its full package provides swift lens access and total light control through its comprehensive accessory suite. SPECS Filter Capacity: 2-stage design. The front filter stage is fixed vertical (and holds \(4^{\prime\prime} \times 5.65^{\prime\prime}\) filters); the rear stage can be displaced horizontally, additionally rotated, and accepts \(4^{\prime\prime} \times 5.65^{\prime\prime}\) or 138mm round filters. Mechanics: Features a swing-away mechanism for rapid lens changes and a lockable adjustment knob for fast back-and-forth positioning against various lens lengths. Package Configuration & Use 138mm Bellows: Screws directly into the rear receptacle to provide a flexible, light-tight seal around the back of the lens. It additionally supports 138mm round filters (such as diopters or polarizers) 4 Reduction Rings: Snap into the bellows or matte box to accommodate varying front-element outer diameters and prevent vignetting while blocking stray light. 15mm & 19mm Support Brackets: Allow the matte box to be rod-mounted. Use the lightweight 15mm bracket for handheld/shoulder rigs (such as the ARRI LWS) and the 19mm bracket for heavier studio bridge plates and cinema lenses. Eyebrow & Ears (Left/Right): Also known as the French Flag and side flags. They mount to the matte box to give precise control over top/bottom and side flare from bright light sources. Hard Mattes: Clip-on plastic masks tailored to specific focal lengths. They act as precise physical boundaries that limit the field of view to the lens's exact angle of capture, preventing unwanted stray light from entering the sensor.
