Medication Safety, Calculations theory and National Inpatient Medication chart

Medication safety is imperative to mitigate risks of errors and help clinicians' complete safe medication administration. The consequences of incorrect medication administration can be devastating for patients, families and the clinicians involved. As nurses and midwives, we are required to refresh our knowledge of Medication safety and calculations annually to ensure competence. This course also includes a module on the National Inpatient Medication Chart to reduce errors around medication orders. Renewal: 1 year (depending on work site policy)
