Este curso completo de alfarería, de 6 semanas, abarca lo fundamental de varias formas de trabajar el barro. Vas a aprender los fundamentos del torno, desde cómo centrar el barro hasta esmaltar tus piezas terminadas. También vas a explorar todo lo que se puede hacer con el modelado a mano, con técnicas como el pellizco, los rollitos y la construcción con placas. Este curso es una excelente introducción a varias maneras de trabajar el barro. Cada quien debe traer su propio juego de herramientas a cada clase, o puede comprar uno en el estudio el primer día. – Can’t decide if you want to start with handbuilding or wheel throwing? Prefer to learn in Spanish? Interested in a ceramics practice that mixes multiple techniques? In this class you can do all of these things! This comprehensive 6-week pottery course will cover the fundamentals of multiple approaches to working in clay. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, from centering clay all the way through through glazing finished pieces. Students will also explore the versatility of handbuilding through techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction. This course is a great introduction to multiple methods of working in clay. Students should bring their own tool set for each class or may purchase one at the studio at the first class.
