Antique Victorian gilt silver Bohemian garnet domed circle pendant

This Victorian era pendant features a round domed shape, studded with a cluster of graduated rose cut Bohemian garnets, which are tightly pave-set in a frame & backing of gilt sterling silver; this piece was professionally converted from a brooch. These deep, wine-red hued gemstones were mined from what is now the Czech Republic & were highly collectible pieces of the late Victorian era.
