Autumn - The Strawberry Tree

Painted from life in the studio. Branches picked from a tree in the garden with glossy leaves, wax-like pure white flowers, ripening yellow fruit and fully ripe red fruit on the branches all at once. You can eat them but you’ll probably only eat one! Hand-painted with archive quality watercolours on thick watercolour paper. This is part of a series of seasonal paintings of flowers and wildlife in the cottage garden. The paintings are all in the same size, tall panel format so can be displayed alone or as sets.
