Custom Coat Commission

This link will go live at 4 PM EST on Friday, July 31. Please read my very long note below before purchasing a commission slot! Guess what? I'm doing something crazy. Instead of paitning on totes... I'm painting on coats. Wild... I know. Here's how it works! Choose your "base" (i.e. one of the coats I have in stock or you can choose to send me a canvas / denim coat of your choosing) Go through the check out process, making sure to opt in to emails You'll receive an email from me asking you to fill out a form that will help me understand what you want on your jacket (what icons you want painted, where you want them, what color for your embroidery, etc.) ** please read note below on what I can / cannot accept as icon requests! I'll follow up via email / phone to clarify if necessary (e.g. if you want additional art that requires a separate invoice) ~4 weeks later I'll ship you your one-of-a-kind wearable art! This commission includes: 2 medium hand-painted icons (e.g. an ice cream cone on the sleeve and the outline of Cape Cod with sprinkles on the pocket) OR 1 large hand-painted icon (e.g. a large lighthouse on the back of the jacket) Custom embroidery on the collar More info on your "base" choices: Gap Factory Relaxed Denim Chore Jacket - I bought a small number of these perfect off-white denim chore jackets a few weeks back to paint on. I have 1-2 in a few sizes "BYO Jacket": Don't love the Gap jacket? Have your own perfect canvas or denim jacket just waiting to be painted? There will be a few commission slots saved for folks who want to send in their own coat. After you check out, I will follow up via email with steps to get your item to my studio! Important note: I will only be able to accomodate requests for icons you've already seen me paint (with slight modifications). For example, because you've seen me paint Nantucket island as a scoop of ice cream covered in sprinkles, I can definitely accomodate painting Block Island as a scoop of ice cream covered in sprinkles! On the other hand, since I've never painted a tuna fish sandwich and I don't know how well it will turn out, I cannot paint a picture of your favorite tuna fish sandwich you ate on Block Island. Take a spin through my Instagram to get some ideas for my painting style! I might be able to accept requests for additional art or modifications as described above, but they may incur an additional cost.
