Irone alpha - Givaudan
Irone alpha is adjacent to the ionones and naturally found in the prized (and extremely expensive) orris absolute - hence it's used as a replacer. It is velvety with raspberry and orris nuances and extremely radiant and diffusive. Trace amounts can be used to powerful effect in fragrances.
