Circa 1855 Height 5” (12cm) Width 15” (38cm) Depth 11.5” (29cm) An Anglo-Indian hardwood and ivory writing slope, with ribbed panels constructed from porcupine quills opening to reveal a fitted interior comprising four compartments; three with smaller ivory lids, the other larger compartment underneath the velvet fall.
