Puesta de sol en Sa Foradada, Mallorca, 1987. [Fomento del Turismo]
Puesta de sol en Sa Foradada, Mallorca, 1987. [Fomento del Turismo] Part of a special three-poster release to mark the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026, alongside Mirador de Son Marroig and Molinos y sol poniente. Three vintage Mallorcan posters, remastered and relaunched in collaboration with the Fomento del Turismo de Mallorca from its historic archive. Puesta de sol en Sa Foradada — Sunset at Sa Foradada — was photographed by Pedro Coll in 1987 and captures the unmistakable pierced rock of Sa Foradada silhouetted against an amber sunset. Set on Mallorca's wild north-west coast, within the Serra de Tramuntana, its open west-facing horizon also makes it one of the island's most remarkable viewpoints for the 2026 eclipse.
