An exceptional pair of mid-19th century flame mahogany Bedside Lockers of outstanding quality, beautifully decorated with intricate brass inlay and surmounted by striking veined rouge marble tops. Each locker is crafted from richly figured flame mahogany and features a lower cupboard opening to reveal a white marble-lined interior. Four elegant mahogany corner pillars, finished with brass collars and delicate curved brass fillet inlay, support the upper section, which incorporates a single drawer beneath the beautifully veined rouge marble top. Substantial in weight and exceptionally well-constructed, these bedside cabinets display superb craftsmanship, refined proportions and remarkable attention to detail throughout.
