Redwoods necklace

The Redwoods necklace is handmade with burgundy dyed olive wood beads, antique brass cable chain, brass semi circles, black and brass disks, and an antique brass toggle clasp. This necklace draws inspiration from California's ancient redwoods and captures the quiet reverence you feel, standing among trees over 2000 years old—a reminder to slow down and be present. It's so humbling looking up at these incredible giants and realize just how fleeting our time on this earth is - a beautiful reminder to embrace every single day. And on a personal note, I knew I would love the Redwoods, but I did not know the emotions that would rise up inside of me. I could feel the connection to the past and the future, the knowing that these trees would outlive everyone I know...that they would bear witness to the ever changing world. So I took my time, in my era. I was fully present spending my moments among them. You better believe I took off my shoes, stuck my feet in the damp earth and hugged the biggest one I could find.
