Volcann™ Fire Pit Base & Gravel Tray - Suitable for BBQs, Fire Pits, Incinerators & Pizza Ovens Create a safer and more practical base for your outdoor fire pit with the Volcann™ Fire Pit Base Tray. Designed to be filled with suitable stone or gravel, this heavy-duty steel tray creates a defined area beneath your fire pit, pizza oven or other outdoor heating product. Rather than placing a hot fire pit straight onto grass, paving or another outdoor surface, the tray lets you create a raised bed of stone for the fire pit to sit on. This adds extra distance and material between the heat source and the surface below. Gravel and other suitable bases are widely used beneath and around fire pits to help protect the ground from heat. Made from 2mm hot rolled steel, the tray is fully welded for a strong and durable construction. It is available in two diameters and two depths, giving you four size options to suit different fire pits and outdoor spaces. Small drainage holes across the bottom allow rainwater to escape instead of collecting inside the tray. This makes the base well suited to permanent outdoor use. You can also use it as a more seasonal setup. When the warmer months end, simply remove the stone or gravel and store the fire pit and base until you need them again. The simple circular shape works well with Volcann™ fire pits and pizza ovens, while also making it suitable for many other outdoor fire pits of an appropriate size.
