Kanso dish - Natural Earth

A low, considered form with a quiet confidence. Hand built in warm, speckled clay with a natural, textural exterior, this dish is unglazed, revealing the raw, earthy beauty of the clay body. Finished with a transparent food-safe sealer, it is watertight and stain resistant. Perfectly sized for three tealights, a handful of jewellery, olives or nuts, a watch, or whatever needs a place to land at the end of the day. Grounded and understated, it earns its place on a bedside table, bathroom shelf, or desk as much as a dining table. Each Kanso Dish is handmade in my studio in Mullumbimby. Due to the nature of the handmade process, slight variations in size, tone, and texture are to be expected - these unique details are part of each piece's character, making it truly one of a kind.
