Hold / Held Sculpture

Kate Tucker's hybrid works shift, fracture, and recombine disparate elements, embedding multiple mediums within a single, self-supporting whole. Her process is fundamentally collage-based: flat planes are cut and reassembled, with some fragments left raw while others undergo continuous, iterative transformation. These combined processes form an ecosystem that gestures toward how art-making dissolves time, along with the boundaries between self, idea, and material.
