The changing rhythms of a single bay on Wadandi Boodja are celebrated when a young girl asks how she’ll know when Djeran – her birthday season – will arrive. Koolbardi the magpie invites her to observe the subtle signs of Country that shift as each new season arrives. Through quiet changes in wind, light, colour and movement, children are encouraged to slow down, notice and listen.
