With his new facility in full swing, Stephane continues to refine and get the most out of these vineyards. Even after six generations of family winemaking, Stephane is still focused on elevating the Ogier family name. Across the board, the wines from Ogier are remarkable, with each Cuvee expressing a unique terroir, even at the Côte du Rhone level. Le Temps est Venu is sourced from plots in Plan de Dieu and Visan and is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, with vines between 30 and 50 years old, planted on clay-limestone soils. Harvest is done by hand, with sorting in the vineyard and before pressing, which is done entirely with whole clusters. Fermentation occurs with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled concrete, where the wine ages for ten months before bottling. The purity of the fruit here is outstanding; fresh red fruits dominate the nose, accompanied by a touch of spice and minerals. The palate is juicy and energetic, featuring delicious red fruits that come through with easy tannins and a long, fruity finish.
