Vintage Chunky Oval Cable Chain with Parrot Clasp, Sterling Silver, 46cm or 18inches, 58.65g

Chunky silver chains like this have become iconic due to their popularity with brands like T*ffany. We love the shape of the cable links and how from every angle they are chunky and have a great rounded profile. This vintage chain is chunky and the rounded oval links sit beautifully along the collarbones. The weight and feel of this chain is amazing - we keep going back to hold her and sling her round our necks. Particulars: Length 46cm or 18 inches Weight 58.65g Width 10.5 x 9.5mm links 2.3mm thick Hallmarks "925" on clasp Condition - some lovely build up of patina - this can be polished out - but it is hard to put back - so we always try to leave in place for the new owner to decide - a couple of very dark patches. Some surface scratches and marks, and solder on the joins and near them. Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear. Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new.
