Mounted onto a rustic, triangular wooden framework. Hand carved from dense wood blocks, each minimalist duck head exhibits a dark, heavily weathered black painted finish, punctuated by historic nails or pegs used to simulate eyes. The primitive heads are securely fixed to each corner of a triangular brace constructed from salvaged, unpainted timber laths, which showcase a beautiful silver-grey weathered grain and residual paint flakes. Adding to its distinct utility and regional character, chunks of the original natural raw cork are affixed underneath the frame corners, serving as buoyancy blocks or protective spacers. It makes for a wonderful decorative interiors piece. Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound. Measures 70cm x 55cm x 18cm Weighs 1950 grams SHIPPING RETURNS
