An oval hinged trinket box with embossed Art Nouveau maiden heads and flowing hair on the lid and sides, whiplash scroll borders, and four scrolled feet. Blank oval cartouches on the lid and front. Lined in pink silk with twisted silk cord trim. In very good condition for age. • Era: c. 1900-1910 • Origin: Likely American; unsigned, "139" stamped on base • Material: Gilt-finished stamped metal, steel hinge pin • Lining: Pink silk, cord-trimmed rims • Size: Approximately 4" wide . ✂️ M E A S U R E M E N T S Material: brass, porcelain Condition: excellent overall with signs of wear typical of age.
