Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Combettes, 2018, 75cl

The 2022 Enseignères comes from domaine fruit but this is not referenced on the label as up to 2021 there used to be some purchased grapes. The bouquet is undemonstrative, but immediately the wine enters the mouth, the class of this vineyard shows. It is as much in the structure, where the fruit and the acidity accompany each other across the palate, as the quality of the fruit itself. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted Oct 2023.
