Jesus worked for seven years at the Honduran Coffee Institute (IHCAFE), where he supported coffee producers across the country by providing training in soil analysis, harvesting, and coffee processing. Drawing on this experience, his goal is clear: to inspire producers to enter the specialty coffee market and adopt better agricultural practices. In 2018, thanks to his dedication and the support of Rony Game, his hometown of Selguapa saw the number of specialty coffee producers grow from just 2 to 30 in a single year. His journey perfectly embodies the vision of Semilla, our importing partner: to offer fair and transparent prices that enable producers to invest in their farms and communities.
