8667 Trio KX-400 Stereo Cassette Deck — Great Condition | Front-Loading Design | Fully Tested The Trio KX-400 is a stereo cassette deck from Trio-Kenwood Corporation, the Japanese manufacturer that would eventually market its products worldwide under the Kenwood name. Produced between 1980 and 1982, the KX-400 is a distinctive front-loading design that eschews the conventional cassette door in favour of a direct-insertion mechanism — the cassette is slid straight into the well, offering greater tape stability and an unusually open, mechanical aesthetic that has earned the model a devoted following amongst cassette enthusiasts. This particular example is in great condition and has been fully inspected and tested by Andrew in our workshop. Condition: Grade A — Great — Very good with minimal wear; presents well.
