Aeschynanthus ABG 22HMMW22-509

Curious gesneriad with an upright habit of firm, succulent-like, dark green foliage with bold dark purple undersides that cling along sturdy stems to about 2 ft T. Its grown beautifully as a pet plant in our greenhouse heated to 40° F during winter months. Not yet trialed outdoors. Seems to like regular water and humidty. Easy to grow, as any houseplant we carry must be; we simply haven't the time to put up with anyone too fussy. Its tolerated full sun through our hot summers (still in a greenhouse), but we suspect bright shade would be appreciated. We will update information as we find it!
