Anglo Saxon Belt Pouch with Fittings

This is a hand made leather belt pouch with bronze. The gold plated bronze and garnet mount is based on a WANE (Woden Artefacts in Numerous Environments) mount from Kings Worthy and the other is based on a similar example from Blakeney. I believe the strap end is based on a find from Winchester but cannot remember now. The pouch is made from thick and sturdy vegetable tanned leather which has been hand cut, finished, stitched and dyed by myself. Finished with a mix of beeswax, tallow and lard. The overall pouch is not directly based on any specific artefact but is a bit of a Frankenstein's creation of several. contents of pouch are used for demonstration only and are not included. All our packaging is 100% paper. No plastic at all.
