Yellow Apron Society Ice Cream Social

Let’s get together before summer slips away and celebrate our first year together! Join me for a relaxed Saturday afternoon at Sweet Lucy’s for an old-fashioned ice cream social! We’ll have homemade ice cream (along with a demo on how to make at home!), plenty of toppings (including one you make yourself!), good conversation, and a chance to catch up before we head into another busy fall season. While I’ll be making most of our ice cream social favorites…you know me…I can’t let you leave the kitchen without teaching you something! I’ll demonstrate how to make homemade ice cream base, and while that ice cream is spinning, we will make a delicious Peach Preserve, using the best peaches in the valley (Clarkdale of course!!). We will jar it up so you can enjoy it all summer long! And lastly, one of my favorite parts of every class is the conversation before and after we cook, but there never seems to be enough time. So this afternoon, we’re making time for it! I’d like to introduce you to Beyond the Apron!
