8583 JDS Labs EL DAC II+ USB/Optical/Coaxial DAC — Excellent Condition | Fully Tested The JDS Labs EL DAC II+ is a compact desktop DAC from JDS Labs’ Element line, a small American company based in Collinsville, Illinois, known for a measurement-focused, engineering-led approach to headphone amplification and digital-to-analogue conversion. CNC-milled from a solid block of aluminium, the EL DAC II+ improves on its predecessor with relay muting, an XMOS-based UAC2 USB engine supporting PCM and DSD, a transformer-isolated coaxial input, and a higher-performance optical input, built around an ESS Sabre DAC chipset. A touch-sensitive front panel button cycles between the three digital inputs, with a colour-coded LED ring indicating the active source.
