Mid-Century Art Deco Lady Figure Ebonised Statue

This piece is a classic Art Deco reclining female nude sculpture, highly characteristic of the French Art Deco style popularized during the 1920s and 1930s. Classic Art Deco era (circa 1930s). It features elongated legs, a stylized bob hairstyle, and a ebonised dark finish that highlights the geometric and fluid curves of the female form. This figure used traditionally plaster. Looking closely at the figure, there are a few minor flakes and chips showing a lighter color underneath the black finish, which is typical for vintage plaster.
