Handwoven Chinchero Alpaca Throw Peru

Finely woven manta/throw with exquisite hand-spun yarn from weavers in Chinchero, located in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Two panels stitched together, made on a backstrap loom with naturally dyed merino wool and alpaca by artisans. From the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco (CTTC), working to support indigenous communities in keeping their traditional weaving traditions alive. Colors include: various tones of oranges, blues, reds, gold, plum, sage, mint green, and more.
