Domaine de Chevillard Savoie 3-Pack | Apremont, Roussette & Mondeuse

A final three-bottle look at Domaine de Chevillard in Savoie, bringing together Jacquère, Altesse, and bottle-aged Mondeuse from three distinct wines. The Jacquère Cru Apremont 2021 comes from 101-year-old vines planted on limestone scree over clay-limestone soils. It is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 24 months in used oak before bottling. The Roussette de Savoie 2021 is 100% Altesse from 41-year-old vines, with 36 months of aging in used oak before release. At the center of the pack is Mondeuse Cru St-Jean-de-la-Porte “La Mort” 2018, from 52-year-old vines on red clay, quartz, and limestone. It spends 24 months in used oak, then another 60 months in bottle before release. This is a closeout allocation, so once these three are gone, we do not expect to revisit the set.
