White Telescopic Floor-to-Ceiling Lamp Model 642 by Hala, 1970s

Hala telescopic floor-to-ceiling lamp from the 1970s, model 642 by Hala Zeist, the Netherlands. This rare floor lamp/tension pole lamp has three adjustable white spotlights that provide direct light, for example for reading. Perforations in the lampshade also create a playful lighting effect. A strong spring and an adjustable pole with a nut and conical ring secure the lamp between floor and ceiling. The pole is 255 cm long and extends to 315 cm. The overall dimensions are 44 × 44 × 255–315 cm (W×D×H). Each of the three adjustable spotlights with reflector measures 24 cm in length and 8 cm in diameter. The condition of the lamp is good and original, with light signs of age and use and wear to the paint consistent with its age. The wiring has been checked by an electrician.
