Michael Smith Series II Turbo Point - 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

Shot have taken the original Michael Smith barrel apart and put it back together. The new Series II runs a straight 90% tungsten profile with a sandblasted finish — matte, slightly granular, the sort of surface that dulls the light rather than throwing it back — and a ring grip that carries from the bullnose front all the way to the tail. Sandblasting is the interesting choice here. Most grip is cut into a barrel; this is worked across the surface, so there are no raised edges to wear at your fingertips over a long session and nothing that catches as the dart leaves the hand. Paired with the ring cuts you get a barrel that holds firmly but releases clean, which is why it suits a player who throws at pace rather than one who grips hard and hangs on. Four weights from 22g to 25g, and Shot have kept them close together on purpose — single gram steps, near-identical proportions, so you can move one either way without relearning where your hand sits. The Turbo interchangeable point system is fitted as standard, so point length is something you can change later rather than a decision locked in at purchase.
