In this special upgrade pack, in addition to your 'Bresser Messier 150mm Dobsonian Telescope - 6"', you will also receive some additional accessories that will significantly enhance your viewing experience when viewing objects in our Solar System. IN THIS UPGRADE PACK YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE: Extra higher powered eyepieces (12mm & 6mm) - The Eyepiece in your telescope is what ultimately magnifies the object you are viewing. The standard eyepiece that comes with the '150mm Dobsonian Telescope' is a 25mm Plossl eyepiece. This is a great eyepiece for viewing star fields, some deepspace objects and some nice views of the moon. However for viewing the Planets, a higher powered eyepiece is recommended. The 12mm and 6mm eyepieces included in this pack will offer exceptionally more detailed views of the Moon, revealing the shadows cast from some of the higher mountain peaks and deep craters. They will also help to bring the larger planets such as Jupiter and Saturn a little closer in view, starting to reveal Saturns rings, and Jupiter's cloud bands more clearly. Under good viewing and steady skies some very faint details on Mars can also be seen - "As the 150mm Dobsonian is already an exceptional telescope for viewing the moon and planets due to its very long focal length, these extra eyepieces dramatically increase its potential." Moon & Planetary Filters - The first thing you will notice when viewing the Moon through a Telescope without a filter is that its extremely bright, so much so that it can be uncomfortable on your eyes and also wash out a lot of the finer details. This specially designed 'Moon filter' dramatically reduces this glare making it much more comfortable to view and also reveals much more contrast and details from its surface. Likewise, the planetary filters are designed to increase the contrast and reduce the glare, so more details can be seen - (even Jupiter when viewed through a telescope with no filter can be extremely bright making it appear almost white in colour.)
