The liquor presents a clear chestnut-red colour with a smooth and refined texture. Early infusions reveal layers of aged wood, gentle herbs and deep earthy sweetness. As the tea opens, a subtle ginseng-like aroma develops, blending with the mature aged character that only decades of storage can create. The mouthfeel is smooth and rounded, carrying a lingering sweetness from the throat (hui gan 回甘) and the distinctive aged charm (lao yun 老韻) appreciated by Pu-erh collectors. Later brews continue to release layers of antique wood, herbal complexity and a mellow sweetness, leaving a calm and soothing finish. Produced from leaves harvested from the historic Yiwu ancient tea mountains (易武古茶山), this tea was supervised by Zheng De Hao (正德號), a traditional tea merchant mark associated with selected Pu-erh productions.
