The HARMONIZE EXT-SR RS is a one-piece 3D rider support and tank grip interface for the 2019–2026 BMW S1000RR, built with an extended curved support profile. Conventional tank grips add friction to an existing flat surface. The EXT-RS goes further, adding a raised, contoured support point with extended coverage exactly where the rider's thigh meets the tank. Its three-dimensional TPU structure gives the lower body a defined surface to brace against, while a high-grip surface texture helps maintain consistent contact through that surface. An Extended Profile for Riders Who Need More Coverage The EXT-RS uses a larger, curved-extension footprint compared to the standard EXT profile — more surface area for the knee and thigh to brace against, shaped to follow the contour of the tank through a wider range of leg position. The surface must be completely dry and free of water, dust, oil, wax, and residue. If necessary, carefully warm the tank surface to approximately 25–30°C (77–86°F) using a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting. Do not overheat the painted surface. Clean and dry your hands before handling the component or adhesive. Dry-fit the component and confirm its position before removing the adhesive liner — check clearance against any existing tank grips first. Gradually peel away the liner while pressing the component into position. Apply firm, even pressure across the complete mounting surface to ensure full contact. Allow the adhesive to set for at least 12 hours. Avoid riding the motorcycle or exposing the installation area to water or moisture during this period.
