Cabot 300 Series Semi-Transparent Stain + Sealer is a deep-penetrating, oil-based exterior stain that adds lasting color while letting the natural grain and texture of the wood show through. Because it soaks into the wood instead of forming a film on top, it won't crack, peel or blister — it simply weathers and is recoated. One coat is all it takes. Application Notes Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F. Use a quality stain brush or pad applicator; if spraying, back-brush each section immediately for uniformity. To avoid lap marks, start at one edge of a board and carry through to the end. Do not thin. Clean brushes and equipment with mineral spirits.
