Antique French Bleached Oak Sideboard

A beautiful antique French provincial sideboard, dating to around 1880–1910 and believed to be predominantly oak. With a wonderfully pale stripped finish, it features a substantial plank top, two drawers and two generous cupboards with internal shelving (not original), alongside shaped panelled doors, fluted detailing and brass hardware. The timber has been lightly sanded and freshly clear waxed, retaining the old marks, subtle colour variations that give it such a lovely relaxed rustic look. Hand sourced by us in France, it offers masses of useful storage and would work brilliantly in a kitchen, dining room or living space. H:110cm W:142cm D:58cm
