Stone is troweled flat and burnished until the surface closes — dense, matte, like honed limestone. Linear is rolled on and pulled through in one direction, leaving long strokes that stretch a room. Rockface is laid on thick and left unsmoothed and chunky. Same bucket. Same color. Three completely different walls. Set them against each other in your project's light and the decision makes itself.
