Metamorphoses - Okiki Akinfe

One edition of Ovid's Metamorphoses, Books I through III, in Brookes More's 1922 blank verse translation. Published by Sendb00ks, with an introduction by Gemma Janes and Bianca Pozzi. Each edition includes a detachable sleeve designed by one of six artists who came to Rocca Sinibalda in the early summer of 2026 and spent time with the poem and the place. The poem opens before light and form, moves through the first ages of the world, myths of desire and its consequences, of bodies becoming other things, of what remains when transformation has run its course. This is the first volume in a five-year Sendb00ks publishing project dedicated to Ovid's fifteen books.
